What Is Light Therapy?

Light therapy at Lyfe Medical Wellness uses advanced multi-wavelength LED technology to deliver precise light energy to the skin and underlying tissues. This non-invasive, physician-supervised therapy stimulates cellular activity and supports the body’s natural repair processes — without downtime, without discomfort and without any disruption to daily activities.

Our professional LED system delivers 7 targeted wavelengths across a spectrum of approximately 400–630 nm and beyond into near-infrared. Each wavelength penetrates tissue at a specific depth and triggers distinct cellular responses — from surface-level antibacterial activity and pigmentation support to deep-tissue recovery, collagen stimulation and circulatory enhancement.

Unlike single-wavelength light therapy devices found in many wellness settings, our multi-wavelength system delivers a comprehensive therapeutic response across multiple tissue layers simultaneously — making it a clinically versatile tool for anti-aging, skin health, recovery support and cellular function.

Advanced multi-wavelength technology

Our LED system utilises 7 targeted wavelengths across a spectrum of approximately 400–850 nm. Each wavelength is selected for its specific depth of tissue penetration and distinct clinical action.

Blue light

≈415 nm

Supports antibacterial activity and helps manage acne-prone or inflamed skin

Green light

≈525 nm

Helps balance skin tone and supports pigmentation control

Yellow light

≈590 nm

Enhances circulation and supports skin calming and lymphatic flow

Red light

≈630 nm

Stimulates collagen production and supports skin repair and regeneration

Near-infrared

≈700–850 nm

Penetrates deeper layers to support tissue recovery, reduce inflammation and enhance healing

What Light Therapy Addresses

  • Skin repair and regeneration — stimulating collagen and supporting the body’s natural tissue renewal

  • Acne-prone or inflamed skin — blue light antibacterial action reduces surface bacterial load

  • Uneven skin tone and pigmentation — green light supports more balanced skin tone

  • Dull, aged skin and oxidative damage — combined wavelengths support cellular anti-aging

  • Post-procedure or post-treatment recovery — supports tissue healing after aesthetic or surgical procedures

  • Poor circulation and lymphatic flow — yellow light enhances microcirculation and lymphatic activity

  • Deep tissue inflammation and joint recovery — near-infrared penetrates to support musculoskeletal recovery

  • General cellular function and anti-aging support — as part of a broader anti-aging programme

Who Is Light Therapy For?

Patients experiencing skin concerns — acne, uneven tone, pigmentation or dullness — who want a non-invasive clinical approach
Patients in the anti-aging programme looking for an additional, complementary therapy to support skin and cellular health
Patients post-aesthetic procedure — such as dermal fillers, thread lifting or PRP — who want to support tissue healing and reduce recovery time
Patients with deep tissue pain, inflammation or recovery needs who want a non-pharmaceutical support option
International visitors to Phuket wanting a high-quality light therapy session as part of a wellness or anti-aging visit
Patients seeking a relaxing, zero-downtime treatment that can be combined with other services on the same visit
Important Medical Assessment
Patients with photosensitising medications, active photosensitive skin conditions, epilepsy (particularly photosensitive), or active skin cancer require individual assessment before light therapy. We review your full health history and medication list at consultation.

He also continues to advance his knowledge through ongoing participation in the A4M Thailand Congress on Anti-Aging and other continuing medical education programmes focused on longevity, wellness and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Sutthi’s clinical approach combines evidence-based anti-aging medicine with regenerative and preventive health strategies designed to support hormonal balance, healthy aging, metabolic health, vitality and long-term wellness. His background also includes advanced education in nutrition and integrative medicine, including plant-based nutrition studies through the T. Light Therapy — Frequently Asked Questions

Most light therapy sessions take 20–40 minutes depending on the areas being treated and the protocol selected. The session is comfortable — patients lie or sit under the LED panel while the wavelengths are delivered. There is no heat, no pain and no recovery time required after the session.

Results depend on your goal. Many patients notice improved skin brightness and reduced inflammation after 3–5 sessions. For deeper concerns — tissue recovery, collagen stimulation and pigmentation — a course of 6–12 sessions is typically recommended, with results continuing to develop between sessions. We advises on the appropriate protocol and frequency at your consultation.

Yes — light therapy is particularly well-suited to combination with other Lyfe Medical treatments, including IV therapy (for comprehensive anti-aging support), PRP (to support skin repair post-procedure) and stem cell or exosome therapy. We can design a combined protocol based on your overall goals.

Multi-wavelength LED therapy is generally well-tolerated across all skin types. It is non-ablative — it does not damage the skin surface — and does not carry the downtime or risks associated with laser treatments. Certain medications and skin conditions require review before treatment. We assesses your suitability at consultation.

Professional multi-wavelength systems deliver significantly higher irradiance (light intensity) than consumer devices, with precise wavelength targeting across multiple therapeutic bands simultaneously. Clinical systems are also physician-supervised — protocols are designed for your specific skin concerns and goals, not a generic programme applied without assessment. The clinical environment also allows safe, consistent delivery that home devices cannot replicate.
